Suicide
Suicidal intentions are treatable and suicide is preventable.
The roots of suicide and suicidal thoughts are often not well understood by those that experience them, nor by those that work with them.
Most people seem to think that life's circumstances are what create peoples' need or desire to end their life. Trauma, loss, abuse, pain are a big part of the picture, but for most people drawn to suicide that is not where the need to die comes from.
Many people suffer depression, trauma and loss, and still aren't suicidal or having suicidal thoughts.
There are underlying, deeply subconscious issues that create the pull to death. When these issues are identified and resolved, the pull to death diminishes or stops.
Almost always the person who is experiencing the pull to death will not be aware of the dynamics that are creating their need to leave life. Often the pull to leave life is accompanied by a very pain filled existence. The pain in their life and the desire to get away from the pain is what people associate with their need or desire to die. This is not the root. Someone without this pain or heavy life circumstances may have the pull to death, yet they also have the energy and space inside to counter the pull and stay in life. The pain or horrible life circumstances drain this energy, and the person finds himself much closer to death, a scary place to be.
It is possible for a practitioner aware of these dynamics, and skilled in how to work with them, to be able to help someone find their root issue and release it. This can resolve or release the pull to death and the need for suicide. Some people have more than one root issue and require more work.
Whether there is one root issue, or multiple issues, it is possible to get to the root of the pull to death, and resolve it.
